I am a multi-award-winning piano teacher and music educator with more than 20 years of professional experience in music education and more than 50 international awards and recognitions as a mentor to piano students of different ages.
Throughout my career, I have worked with students from young beginners to advanced and professional pianists, helping them develop strong musical foundations, piano technique, musical understanding, confidence performance skills and love for music.
I have extensive experience preparing students for international piano competitions and graded music examinations, as well as helping students develop clear and effective strategies for achieving their individual musical goals.
I am the creator of the ADM Method (Ana Dražul Method) and the founder of Nomiea, a music education programme and original educational app developed through more than 20 years of direct work with students. Designed to nurture children’s interest and love for music from an early age, Nomiea combines play-based learning, practical skills and creative expression with a balanced use of technology through digital, hands-on and paper-based activities. It also supports educators with ready-to-use content and materials, making it easy to integrate meaningful music education into everyday teaching.
My professional work combines traditional piano education with innovative approaches to music learning, allowing me to adapt my teaching to different ages, levels and learning goals. I also integrate modern technology and digital learning tools into my lessons to make the learning process more efficient and accelerate students’ progress - at every age and level.
Whether a student is taking their first steps in music, developing their piano skills, preparing for an examination or competition, or working towards an advanced professional level, my goal is to provide structured, individualised and inspiring guidance throughout their musical journey.

My teaching approach combines strong musical knowledge, piano skills and many years of experience in music education, with a focus on making learning clear, structured, engaging and enjoyable.
I work with students from age 4 to professional level, adapting my teaching to each student's age, level, goals and individual needs.
For young children, I use play-based learning to introduce music theory and piano in a natural and enjoyable way. I am the creator of the ADM Method (Ana Dražul Method), an approach that combines the foundations of music theory with the fundamentals of piano playing. The method was developed through years of direct work with children, observing which concepts, techniques and learning approaches helped them understand and remember music most easily and effectively.
My work with young children is also connected to Nomiea, a music education programme and educational app I developed to support children's musical learning. Through games, stories, visual materials, practical exercises and structured activities, children can develop their musical understanding, rhythm, listening skills, coordination, memory and confidence while learning to play the piano.
For older students and advanced pianists, my teaching becomes more individually focused and goal-oriented. Depending on the student's needs, lessons can include piano technique, repertoire, musical interpretation, music theory, performance skills, mental training, memorization techniques for learning and performing from memory, and developing greater independence as a musician.
I also specialise in strategic and structured preparation for students who have specific performance goals, such as piano competitions or graded music examinations, including ABRSM. ABRSM offers piano Practical and Performance Grades from Initial Grade through Grade 8, so preparation can be planned according to the student's target level and timeframe.
For competition and examination preparation, I focus not only on teaching the repertoire, but also on the strategy behind the preparation: choosing appropriate repertoire, planning the learning process, structuring practice, setting realistic milestones, developing performance confidence and preparing the student to perform at their best at the right time.
A typical lesson depends on the student's level and goals. We may begin by reviewing previous work, then introduce or develop a new concept, work at the piano through practical exercises and repertoire, and finish by establishing clear goals for independent practice. I adapt the pace, techniques and structure of each lesson according to the student's progress.
What sets me apart is that I combine extensive experience as a piano teacher and music educator with my own developed teaching methodology and a strong focus on finding simple and effective ways to make even abstract musical concepts understandable. My goal is not only to teach students how to play the piano, but to help them understand music, develop confidence and become independent, thoughtful musicians.
