Hey there! I'm a professional oboist, and I'm thrilled to share my world of music with you. For the past 10 years, I've been performing in some of the finest orchestras and ensembles, currently holding the special role of Principal Oboe in the Croatian Radio Symphony Orchestra in Zagreb. Imagine learning from someone who lives and breathes orchestral music every day!
My musical journey started right here in Zagreb, but it quickly took me abroad for extensive studies with leading international instructors. This means you'll benefit from a unique blend of local insight and global expertise in every single lesson.
Music has always been my passion, and I've been fortunate enough to make it my profession. I earned my Master of Music degree in 2018 from the Music Academy in Zagreb, studying with the renowned Professor Branko Mihanović and later with prof. Christian Schmitt at Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart.
I truly believe that being a great musician means continuously working on both your musical skills and your teaching techniques. Sharing knowledge with colleagues and students is what completes the picture of an artist. Through my participation in international youth orchestras and masterclasses with esteemed pedagogues and oboists over the last years, I've gained extensive experience in multi-national education and collaboration.
Beyond technique and musicality, I also pay big attention in mental preparation for important exams and auditions. Drawing from my own experiences and the discipline learned through my dedication to sport, I understand the importance of focus, resilience, and managing pressure. We'll work together to build your confidence and ensure you're mentally sharp for your big moments.
