O Jiyeon
Hi, my name is Jiyeon. I was born and raised in South Korea, and I’ve already taught over 1400 Korean lessons online to students all around the world.
With my experience as both a teacher and a language nerd myself (English, Chinese, Swedish, and Croatian... and even more), I understand the challenges you may face and know how to guide you step by step.
Students describe me as patient, supportive, and professional, and I always aim to create a comfortable space where you can learn with confidence. Whether your goal is fluency, grammar, or just enjoying Korean culture, I’ll be here to help you achieve it.

Since I’m also learning English, Chinese, Swedish, and Croatian (and more!), I truly understand the struggles of learning a new language, and I’ll guide you in a way that feels supportive and motivating.
Every class is customized to your goals, and I’ll give you feedback on grammar, vocab, or pronunciation in a way that fits your level.
If you prefer a more structured approach, we can also use different textbooks to focus on grammar step by step. And if you want to learn faster, I can prepare homework and practice tasks designed just for you.
