Hi, I'm Martina!
I'm a native Croatian speaker who spent the past nine years living, studying and working in England, where English became part of my everyday life.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Tourism Business Management and I'm currently completing a Master's degree in Digital Marketing. Throughout my career in the UK hospitality industry, I progressed from receptionist to front office management and guest service specialist roles, working with international guests and communicating in English every day.
My experience has given me a deep understanding of the English language in real-life situations, from everyday conversations to professional workplace communication. I specialise in helping learners improve their confidence, speak more naturally and prepare for real-world situations, whether that's travelling, working abroad, preparing for interviews or building a career in hospitality and tourism.
I believe learning should be practical, encouraging and enjoyable. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes and growing in confidence with every lesson.

My lessons are designed for learners who already have a basic understanding of English and want to become more confident, fluent and natural speakers.
I believe that the biggest obstacle for many learners isn't grammar—it's a lack of speaking practice. I experienced this myself when I moved to England. Although I already knew English, I struggled to hold natural conversations until I began using the language every day. That's why my lessons focus on practical communication rather than memorising rules.
Every lesson is tailored to your individual goals and interests. We can work on everyday conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, workplace communication or interview preparation. If you work in hospitality or tourism, I also offer specialised lessons covering guest communication, reception and front office situations, customer service, handling complaints, telephone conversations and hotel interview preparation using realistic role plays.
A typical lesson includes conversation practice, vocabulary building, pronunciation support and personalised feedback to help you sound more natural and confident. My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and improving with every lesson.
Whether you're learning English for work, travel, moving abroad or simply to communicate more confidently, I'll help you develop practical speaking skills that you can use in real-life situations from day one.
